Welcome to Essence of Nutrition. Please review the following terms and conditions carefully before engaging in our services. By proceeding with our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.  

1. General 

  • 1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Essence of Nutrition, including consultations, assessments, and treatments. 

  • 1.2 Essence of Nutrition reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website. 

2. Confidentiality and Data Protection (GDPR Compliance) 

  • 2.1 We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 

  • 2.2 All personal information and health data collected will be used solely for the purpose of providing health services and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law. 

  • 2.3 You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data at any time. Requests should be sent to clionabrady1@hotmail.com.

3. Health Questionnaire 

  • 3.1 A health questionnaire must be completed and returned at least 48 hours before your scheduled consultation. 

  • 3.2 Failure to submit the health questionnaire on time may result in the rescheduling of your appointment. 

  • 3.3 The information provided in the health questionnaire will be used to tailor your consultation and treatment plan effectively. 

4. Permission to Contact GP 

  • 4.1 Permission to contact your General Practitioner (GP) is a condition of service. 

  • 4.2 You will be advised of any correspondence with your GP prior to contact. 

  • 4.3 Correspondence with your GP will only be made when deemed necessary for your nutrition and lifestyle plan or in case of a medical concern that requires your GP's attention. 

5. Appointments and Cancellations 

  • 5.1 Appointments can be scheduled via online booking system at www.essenceofnutrition.ie. 

  • 5.2 We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. 

  • 5.3 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in the forfeiture of your session. 

5.4 In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, you will forfeit your session. 

  • 5.5 Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made at the discretion of Essence of Nutrition in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances. 

 6. Payment 

  • 6.1 Payment for services is due at the time of booking the appointment unless otherwise agreed upon. 

  • 6.2 We accept payment methods as available on www.essenceofnutrition.ie. 

  • 6.3 Any outstanding balances must be settled before subsequent appointments. 

 7. Limitation of Liability 

  • 7.1 Essence of Nutrition will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. 

  • 7.2 Our liability for any claim arising from the provision of our services is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. 

8. Client Responsibilities 

  • 8.1 Clients are expected to provide accurate and complete information during consultations and in health questionnaires. 

  • 8.2 Clients are responsible for following the agreed treatment plan and recommendations. 

  • 8.3 Any concerns or changes in health status should be communicated to Essence of Nutrition promptly. 

9. Complaints and Feedback 

  • 9.1 We welcome feedback and aim to resolve any issues promptly and efficiently. 

  • 9.2 Complaints should be directed to Clíona Brady at cliona@essenceofnutrition.ie

  • 9.3 We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 10 working days and aim to provide a resolution within 30 working days.  

10. Governing Law 

  • 10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. 

  • 10.2 Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
